Welcome to Girls Farm Too! I am a single mama, farmer, and seed sales lady and an advocate for Agriculture. Above everything else that I love or dream about or do for work, I am a mother first. Two years ago, I gave birth to my tractor and dirt loving baby boy. Ten months later, his first word was tractor. He alone, is my FAVORITE part of life. Every aspect of our life is involved in Agriculture, I couldn't imagine it any other way!

I come from a long line of wonderful men, and women that were farmers. Whether it has been milking dairy cows, running beef cattle, growing sugar beets, hay or potatoes. My family has been involved in Agriculture for over 100 years. That makes me fourth generation and my son fifth. I am so proud of my families heritage.

I have a passion, maybe even an obsession with producing the best food possible. I want my son, and the rest of the kids in this world to have the best chance at life. I get the best of both worlds in food production. As a mother, I know that quality of life starts with nutrition. As a farmer, I know the importance of producing the safest and highest quality of food for you, the consumer!

This blog is devoted to putting a face on agriculture. I want to show people that there is a female farmer out there, who is a mother before anything else. Not only am I a farmer, I am a grocery shopper too. Through my posts, I hope I can give you an outlook on what it takes to get food "from field to plate".  I am an advocate for the future generation to lead, and feed America.
